Marketing Meet was founded by Jonathan Scott in January 2025, following over 25 years’ experience in marketing, digital and business development.
Having worked across a diverse range of marketing sectors and co-founded Northern Media, an award-winning digital agency, Jonathan has spent years building relationships within the marketing sector and understands the importance of strong networks and trusted partnerships.
Through years of running a digital agency since 2009, I have explored and tested almost every type of lead-generation strategy, including Web/SEO, Google Ads, Organic Social, Paid Social, Exhibitions, Events, Workshops, Affiliates, Traditional Networking and various referral schemes.
During challenging economic periods, what has always served me best is the trusted partnerships I had in place, which has delivered a consistent high-quality inbound lead stream. In addition, whilst the CPA (cost per acquisition) typically increases when demand drops (cpc being the perfect example) what has remained true and constant is the introductions from my close contacts.
The idea for Marketing Meet therefore emerged from the appetite to want to strengthen local relationships with other marketing agencies, freelancers and suppliers to help…
